Online MBA Option

Our highly flexible, online MBA option not only keeps pace with our graduate student’s desire for a quality education, but their need for convenience as well.

Many of our MBA courses that are offered online have a “twin” on-site section. The same faculty member leads both sections, covers the same topics, follows the same sequence and evaluates students equally. This assures that all students receive the same quality educational experience. Students may take MBA courses online, on-site or a combination of both.

Faculty members use the Blackboard Learning System, an e-learning and course management system. They take advantage of Blackboard for both the online and on-site “twin” sections --- making available to you syllabi, course requirements and materials that enhance in-class activities. The system is also useful for student e-mail and postings, and as technology support for team-related projects.

In addition to Blackboard, faculty members have other delivery modes available for online courses. In the school’s two multimedia rooms and via portable equipment available in other classrooms, they may record a lecture for online sections. The recordings are converted for online streaming and linked to a faculty member’s Blackboard site. Faculty members also make use of Microsoft PowerPoint for online lectures, taking advantage of the software’s voice narration option.
